Meet Alexus
Alexus Davis is a faith-filled creative, author, and speaker, based in Houston, Texas, originally from Capitol Heights, Maryland. At her core, she’s someone who loves Jesus deeply and carries a genuine burden to see people encounter Him in a real, life-changing way—not just in church settings, but in everyday life.
She moves between creativity and ministry with intention. Whether she’s speaking, leading, creating, or building community, her heart is the same: to help people step into a deeper walk with God and live with bold, unshakable faith.
Alexus is the author of Prepare the Way, a message born out of her passion to see believers move into boldness, obedience, and Holy Spirit-led evangelism. She is also the founder of The River Power Evangelism Movement, a discipleship and outreach community that exists to equip believers to grow in their faith, share the Gospel confidently, and live fully surrendered to Christ.
She is also the owner of One Five Visuals, where she works as a photographer and videographer, using visual storytelling to capture identity, purpose, and vision for brands, ministries, and individuals.
Everything she builds flows from one conviction: faith is meant to be lived out loud.

One encounter changed my life
For years, I searched for fulfillment in all the wrong places, partying, relationships, addictions, and even the occult, yet I was still empty, broken, and bound by depression. Then in 2017, I encountered the love and power of Jesus in a way that forever changed my life. As the pastor preached on the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8, I felt God speak directly to my heart: “Daughter, you’ve tried everything to heal your soul, but you haven’t come to me.” In tears, I surrendered my life to Jesus, and in that moment, the weight of sin lifted, His presence filled me, and I was made new.
Later that same night, I heard the audible voice of the Lord, and it was in that moment that I realized the God I once thought was distant, knew me, and He loved me personally. From that night forward, I continued on, surrounded by others hungry for His presence in prayer, bible study, and evangelism. Since then, my passion has been to prepare the way of the Lord in proclaiming the gospel, moving in the power of the Holy Spirit, and helping others discover the same intimacy with Jesus that transformed my life.
